Protect your car from the Track Trilogy of TERROR! We love the Lotus, but there are 3 flaws that arise during serious track use. Sector111 has sorted the solutions to keep your car safe from oil and fuel starvation and weak toe links.
In high-g, right-hand turns, your engine will oil starve. The problem is, the oil in the stock pan sloshes to the left leaving nothing at the oil pump pick-up. This oil starvation can blow your engine. Cheap Fix: Over fill your oil pan. Draw Back: you'll get more oil blow-by & intercooler contamination. Sector111's Solution: gPAN

The stock Lotus fuel tank can not keep enough fuel at the pick up during track use. Right-hand turns will cause your engine to lean out. A lean running engine will lead to costly engine-rebuilds. Cheap Fix: Fill up your tank before each session. Draw Back: you'll have to make more fuel stops & you'll carry a heavier fuel load. Sector111's Solution: V2 Fuel Tank

The stock rear toe-link & balljoint assembly are prone to breakage with track use. They require constant attention and maintenance to ensure they won't loosen and shear on the track. Cheap Fix: Check & torque toe link ball joints before every track session. Draw Back: takes up valuable prep time. Sector111's Solutions: RTVbrace - RTD2brace - Nitron Rear Toe Links -
